I will work for the people of Boston every day to make sure that the quality of life in our city is second to none. I will be the voice of every resident from West Roxbury to Charlestown and everywhere in between. I will work to make sure that all neighborhoods are priority one in City Hall.

City Council Accountability

I will work to make all council matters open and transparent to all city residents.

I will work to make the budget process a publicly visible action & open to greater review by all.

I will make it my job to make sure that we spend responsibly and with the people of Boston as our focus.

Quality Education for Every Child  

As your city councilor I will make it priority one that every school and every teacher is equipped with the best tools: books, paper, pens, and a safe environment in which they will progress to their full educational potential.

I have strong beliefs in family values and the benefits of a proper education.  I believe that lack of education is major factor of the current state crime and poverty in our city. 

Our children are the future of Boston and by raising the standards in the Boston Public Schools we can better prepare them for the future.  I will work to streamline the school budget and make sure that every dollar spent is done so wisely and in the best interest of the students and faculty, not for special interest consulting and broken programs.

Schools need to be a safe place for children, not a place that they need to be sheltered from.  I will work to make sure that our schools are protected by requiring school security at every school to provide the needed safety.

Education however, does not stop at the 12th grade. It continues into the job force.  We need to teach children early, the value of hard work and provide job opportunities for them to keep them off the street.  I will fight to create better extra-curricular education opportunities such as tutoring programs staffed by our best students, where the value of hard work will be learned by the tutors and better studying skills for the attendees.

I will also work to extend our educational opportunities to our adults residents as well. Better education provides better job opportunities and more ways to advance. 

Better City Services for All Neighborhoods

I will work for you every day in the council to provide clean streets, safe neighborhoods, and a better Boston.

I will fight to get the necessary funds to allow the clean up of our streets. Our city is the best and we should have the cleanest. I will push to get our inspectional services to fine offenders and for our police force to enforce our littering laws.

My vision is a city connected by its best resources in which any resident of Boston can go to their "local City Hall" and receive assistance just as they would in downtown. I would like to use the resources we have both in written and electronic to connect all neighborhoods throughout the city. I will work to organize our disastrous system of government we now have to a more friendly and open system utilizing our current city workers and our internet web site.
